Empath, a band in which the lead singer/guitar player channels her guitar through a bunch of watery effects opened. That band’s drummer had a little tambourine-like bell on his toms. He wore a dirty white tank top, shorts, and a mustache. There was a cinder block against the bass drum. At first, they had to mush the block back against the bass drum because the kit kept moving. The drummer finally gave up and rested the cinder block half inside the bass drum hole.
